Ice-Breaker Reception

Participants of Nova Scotia Energy Research and Development Forum 2008 were invited to attend an ice-breaker reception following the first day of sessions on Wednesday, May 21.

The reception was held at the Keating Millennium Centre at St. Francis Xavier University and featured student research poster presentations from universities and community colleges across the province.

Participants had an excellent opportunity to network with delegates representing research, industry and government from across the globe, including Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States. 

Festivities began at 5 p.m. with live music from local talents, a bar and hors d'oeuvres and wrapped up at 7 p.m.

There was no admission cost for Forum participants.
