OETR Geoscience

This area is dedicated to OETR Geoscience Research, Publications and Events.

Geoscience has been identified as the main priority for the OETR, including:

• Increasing petroleum geoscience data in offshore Nova Scotia;

• Increasing the petroleum geoscience knowledge of offshore Nova Scotia;

• The hosting of technical workshops and conferences to discuss new geoscience data and knowledge; and

• The placing of the new geoscience data and knowledge into the public domain, so as to provide more information to potential investors as well as the general public; and to increase the exploration attractiveness of offshore Nova Scotia.

Currently, there are research projects and initiatives underway to help address these priorities and expand knowledge of geoscience in Nova Scotia's offshore.
